Dyads and Experiential Consultation

DBR Dyads:

Learn DBR through practice, observation, and real-time consultation. In a Dyad Consultation, two participants work together to practice their own DBR process while I observe and provide in-the-moment consultation on what the therapist is noticing, tracking, and responding to. You’ll have the opportunity to deepen your ability to recognize what is happening in the room, make clinical decisions in real time, and receive immediate feedback and guidance as you work. Participants then switch roles, allowing each person to experience both sides of the process. This format offers a supportive, hands-on way to build confidence and skill with DBR while learning directly from your own experience and from another practitioner.

Experiential Consultation:

Experience DBR from the inside out. Experiential Consultation offers DBR therapists the opportunity to engage in their own personal DBR work with me for up to eight sessions. By experiencing the process as a client, you can develop a deeper, embodied understanding of DBR while exploring your own material in a supportive and collaborative setting. This work can deepen your appreciation of the client experience, strengthen your confidence in using DBR, and enhance your ability to recognize and respond to the subtle processes that unfold during treatment. It is an opportunity to learn not only about DBR, but through your own direct experience of the work.
